Courtney is a registered Social Worker who completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Western Ontario in 2010. She has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with a broad range of concerns including eating disorders, mood and anxiety issues, relationship difficulties and trauma.
Courtney has a particular specialization in the treatment of eating disorders and has extensive training and experience in this area. She currently splits her time between her private practice at the WaterStone Clinic and the Young Adult Eating Disorders Program at Southlake Regional Health Centre, where she has worked since the programs inception. Courtney has also facilitated a variety of groups at Hope’s Garden Eating Disorder and Resource Support Center in London, Ontario and Sheena’s Place here in Toronto.
Courtney has training and experience using a range of treatment modalities including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Motivation Enhancement Therapy (MET) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).
